Darkenu operates in the field and on the internet in order to sound a clear vision and reaffirm the values of Israeli society, in accordance with the following principles: A. The State of Israel is the National Homeland of the Jewish people in accordance with the spirit of the Declaration of Independence. B. A democratic state with a mechanism that ensures, and must continue to ensure, the rule of law and the exercise of full and equal rights for all its citizens. C. The realization of the Zionist vision of a Jewish and Democratic state will only be possible through separation from the Palestinians and the creation of two states. D. Separation from the Palestinians will only be fulfilled on the condition that we secure the Israeli populace, and preserve the strength of Israel and its security advantage in the Middle East. E. A renewed commitment to civil solidarity, social justice and equal opportunities for all Israeli citizens in education, health and social welfare systems. F. The elimination of racism and discrimination at all levels of Israeli society, and the nurturing of a cultural dialogue between all citizens regardless of origin, gender and religion. G. The moderate majority will lead the State of Israel to a truly good future by resting on what different segments of society have in common, and not what divides and radicalizes. Darkenu receives support from foundations and private donors, both in Israel and overseas, which seek to encourage the existence of a moderate camp, working towards the future of Israel.
