To show love and concern for the Jewish people and especially for the State of Israel, which has been newly established, to serve as a center of comfort as the Prophet Isaiah said; to remind Christians and urge them to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel; to be a center through which Christians worldwide can learn what is happening in Israel so they may relate appropriately; to mobilize Christian leaders, churches and organizations to be influential centers in their countries for the Jewish people; to initiate or assist in establishing enterprises in Israel for the welfare of all people living in the land without distinction of race, background or religion; to be a reconciling factor between Arabs and Jews
