Golf Association in Israel

To serve as an umbrella organization for golf clubs in Israel. To develop, encourage and establish golf as a recreational sport in Israel. To initiate projects for developing the sport in cooperation with public and private entities and to work for the establishment of additional golf courses in Israel. To represent golf clubs in Israel and protect the interests of them, golf players and those interested in recreational golf. To set professional rules that will bind member golf clubs of the organization (as defined below) and players belonging to these clubs. To prepare, plan, determine, carry out and supervise national and international golf competitions, matches and gatherings and any other meetings as decided from time to time. To collect, levy and borrow funds and accept monies from Israel and abroad, including and without limiting the generality of the foregoing from Jewish organizations, sports organizations and foreign golf organizations, and to distribute, pay, deliver and give by way of donations, contributions, loans, participation fees, prizes, grants, subsidies, travel fees, competition expenses and any other funds for the purpose of advancing the goals and interests of the organization. To invest the organization's funds under those conditions and against those securities as it deems appropriate from time to time for the purpose of advancing the organization, promoting golf in Israel and the organization's goals. To take any action the organization deems appropriate for advancing its goals. To organize official national and international competitions in Israel (hereinafter: 'official competitions') and to be responsible for them, as well as to mediate and connect national and international organizations regarding the organization of official national and international competitions in Israel. To receive requests and conduct negotiations with national and international organizations regarding the organization and management of official golf competitions in Israel, and to mediate between the organizations and the organization's members for the purpose of conducting and managing official competitions.
