Organization of Bi-National Chambers of Commerce in Israel (Registered Association)

To serve as an umbrella organization for binational and regional chambers of commerce operating in Israel and those to be established in the future that have been approved by the umbrella organization and registered as a nonprofit in Israel; to promote and assist in the establishment and recognition of new chambers according to the standards for recognition of a binational chamber of commerce; to support chambers, assist in establishing their status and activities, including: (a) promoting regulatory and legislative processes to improve business and economic relations and remove barriers of all kinds between Israel and various countries; (b) assisting chambers in promoting commercial and economic relations, including trade, investments, and innovation; supporting and assisting in chambers' participation in relevant activities of government ministries and commercial, financial, and economic institutions, including participation in outgoing and incoming diplomatic and commercial missions to the country or region, coordinated with and approved by that country's or region's chamber; (c) collaborating with various actors engaged in international activity; (d) protecting the exclusive use of the terms 'chamber of commerce' and 'business council'; (e) encouraging chambers to cooperate with parallel chambers in destination countries; (f) serving as a center for guidance and information for chamber of commerce activities and a platform for sharing knowledge between chambers of commerce; (g) assisting chambers that are experiencing difficulties in their operations
