Union of Treasurers in Local Authorities in Israel (Registered Association)

Association objectives: a. To establish and be the professional organization representing municipal treasurers, municipal federations and city unions working for their advancement and protection of the interests of its members vis-à-vis employers and various authorities, including the local government center, government ministries, the Knesset and any other body that can influence and make decisions regarding the status, powers, employment conditions, welfare and professional protection of the municipal treasurer. The organization is authorized to take any action for the advancement of the status of its members, including conducting negotiations for the signing of collective agreements, signing collective agreements, declaring labor disputes and/or any action resulting from the association being the representative organization of municipal treasurers, representation in Knesset committees and in institutions of the labor federation. b. To ensure appropriate representation of the organization in all institutions dealing with municipal administration matters, and to act in cooperation and coordination with representatives of engineers' unions and secretaries in local authorities. c. To be a member of an umbrella organization uniting the union of municipal treasurers, secretaries and engineers in local authorities. d. To advance professional knowledge of organization members through research work, exchange of knowledge and information with institutions and organizations in Israel and abroad, publication of written material in all matters related to the profession of municipal treasurer. e. To establish bodies whose purpose is research, advancement and improvement of municipal administration procedures (financial or other) or to participate in such bodies. f. To hold or participate in holding study days, congresses, lectures, symposiums and training related to the improvement of municipal administration (financial or other). g. To hold social and other meetings of organization members and participate in organizing and holding congresses and social events and any other joint activity with other municipal professional organizations. h.
