Chug Haamakim

Our vision is to instill in the youth a sense of pride and selfconfidence, that enables them to become productive members of society. The central tool in the program is teaching children the sport of orienteering (navigating unfamiliar territory under competitive conditions using topographical maps). It has been shown to give teenagers a physical and intellectual challenge and a sense of responsibility. It also gives them a deep sense of self satisfaction when they succeed.
