To maintain an institution of higher education, to establish, develop, cultivate, increase, encourage and maintain academic and other study programs and to confer academic degrees and other certificates upon graduates, subject to approval by the Council for Higher Education. To maintain and promote research, establish research funds and develop research. To initiate and maintain academic and professional implementations and community and social activities in the spirit of the association's goals, provided that the academic activities of the association constitute its main and essential activity. To maintain pre-academic and intermediate study programs including preparatory courses, additional study programs and courses to be determined by the governing board. To receive allocations, grants, donations, gifts, inheritances and loans. To grant scholarships, grants and awards. To purchase, lease, exchange, receive by inheritance, rent and lease property, perform any action in connection with the association's goals
