Every month over one hundred families depend on Yad Leyadid for food vouchers, medicine vouchers, diapers and baby formula. Before every holiday Yad Leyadid provides vouchers for over 200 families to help them with the extra costs of the holiday.
Our organization is staffed by volunteers and funded completely through private donations. Each volunteer works from their own home enabling us to avoid any overhead costs for an office, staff and office maintenance. All donations go directly to the poor families. Generous donations that we receive also enable us to add more needy families to our lists. We dread having to turn anyone away for lack of funds.
