Emor El HaCohanim

Emor El HaCohanim takes the kids that no one wants and gives them the tools they need (self esteem, education love and caring)to succeed in life. Our underprivileged children come from "tough" homes and we "soften" life up for them! Come be a partner Emor El HaCohanims starts at age 3 (so far until age 13). The children are in our care from the moning until mid or late afternoon (depending on age group). The children are fed a hot meal every full day of school (the only one they'll eat that day). We also have a "tutoring and mentoring" program. The children in need of help are tutored and mentored in: Speech, Writing, Behavior, Hebrew & General subjects and helped with homework at the end of the day. We do sight and hearing tests, vacinations and psycological testing (for those in need) all without cost to the families. The idea of the long day is to allow the parents to sort out their own lives and either find work or train towards working. Some of the families see us as a low cost baby sitting service but as long as the children gain by being in our care we don't pay much attention to this. Our long term plan is to have domitories therby the children are in less contact with their negative enviroment at home. Thanks for reading
