Merchavim - The Institute for the Advancement of Shared Citizenship in Israel

Merchavim is an Israeli non-profit that works to help Israelis of different cultures and backgrounds know each other better, appreciate their differences and create more just organizations, communities and society. Diversity exists in all groups, organizations and communities. An approach that sees this diversity as an advantage, empowers individuals and the group and leverages this diversity to success in education, industry and society. Merchavim - the institute for the advancement of common citizenship in Israel, is active since 1998 to advance diversity, equality and inclusion in Israeli society through programs, workshops and training. In this way, together with Israeli's Ministry of Education, we integrate teachers from the Arab community, the Ethiopian community and disabled teachers, in Israel's schools. We also conduct diversity workshops in education, corporations and nonprofits to advance the principals of diversity and justice.
