NAMAG Association of AMD patients in Israel

NAMAG, the Association of AMD Patients in Israel was founded in 2001 by a group of patients to offer support to AMD patients. NAMAG offers information about AMD, practical advice on how to cope, and how to return as soon as possible to daily life. NAMAG offers information about AMD, practical advice on how to cope, and how to return as soon as possible to a daily routine. NAMAG is and is manned entirely by volunteers. It has received the “Certificate of Proper Management” as well as tax deduction for donors (according to par. 46 of the tax laws.) Today, only 8 years after its establishment, NAMAG has over 1,500 paying members! It is a nationwide organization with 4 regional branches. NAMAG is the only organization in Israel dealing exclusively with AMD patients and offering them physical, emotional and rehabilitation support. NAMAG maintains close ties with all relevant medical, rehabilitation and welfare systems in Israel.
