About

"Rosh Yehudi" is an association dealing with deepening the Jewish identity in all layers of the population, bridging different populations and national unity. We work through a self-consciousness center in Tel Aviv, as well as branches throughout the country, to answer the cultural and spiritual necessity to confront questions of identity among the young, intellectual non-religious public. The center proposes an original Jewish alternative to the Eastern methods on one hand, and to the Western culture on another. There are no prerequisites for joining or need to wear a Kippa. The center organizes evening lessons and workshops, as well as joyful Kabbalot Shabbat including dancing. Additionally one can request a personal lesson or personal consultation with a rabbi. The place prepares for Bar-Mitzva and family life, and occasionally brings forward weekends with top lecturers of Toranic Zionist thought. The organization also deals with preserving and renovating of synagogues in Tel Aviv, including the possibility of naming after the donor. Lessons include the Bible, Jewish psychology, duality, introduction to Kabbalah, ethics and more.
