Saving Lives Hatzolah: "Because Every Second Counts" has 27 years of experience as the 1st branch of Hatzolah in Israel. It trains volunteers to be First Responders and Paramedics. We then dispatch them ad-hoc on the basis of location in relation to the emergency scene. We respond 24/7, 7 days a week to scenes of vehicular accidents, strokes, medical emergencies, and increasingly since October 2015, to terror attacks. We responded to 59,007 emergencies in 10 regions of Israel in 2015.
