Publishing reports on the organization's work including decisions made in its institutions. Taking all actions to advance the organization's goals. Encouraging professional and ethical journalism and promoting adherence to journalism ethics codes in Israel. Dealing with all matters necessary for maintaining the status of journalists in Israel. Preserving, promoting and protecting freedom of expression and freedom of the press in Israel. Establishing an ethics court to investigate complaints of violations of the ethics code against media outlets. Supporting non-profit organizations with similar goals to the organization.
