Humans without Borders

Humans Without Borders (HWB) is devoted to providing humanitarian medical aid to Palestinian families whose children require medical assistance in Israeli Hospitals. Website: http://www.humans-without-borders.org/ Humans without Borders' volunteer drivers meet Palestinian families at the border check-points and escort them to and from the designated hospitals in Israel. In the hospitals, HWB volunteers facilitate communication between staff and parents and visit the children. For Palestinian families with children needing dialysis and cancer treatment the challenges are especially severe. HWB volunteers take these children, as often as five times a week, to the major medical centers in Israel. HWB also arrange parties and fun activities for the youngsters.
