Together in Happiness, seeks to: Establish a national movement for marriage education in Israel Offer couples the opportunity to participate in marriage communication workshops To promote the healthy, lasting relationships among married couples. Over the past decade the divorce rate in Israel has risen dramatically. In 2012, a total of 10,694 couples divorced; a record high. B’Yachad B’Osher – Together in Happiness is a non-profit organization established in 2011 by Susan Barth to prevent divorce by bringing marriage education to Israel. The organization is the exclusive licensee in Israel of one of the world’s premiere marriage education programs pioneered by Dr. Howard Markman and his associates at the University of Denver's Center for Marital and Family Studies. Through I-PREP, the Israeli version of the program, B’Yachad B’Osher trains marriage education facilitators and runs marriage workshops for couples of all ages and walks of life. This is not therapy, rather capacity building for normative couples and works to prevent relationships from spiraling out of control. Together in Happiness held the first International Conference for Marriage Education in Israel and conducts media campaigns and forums.
