To unite environmental unit managers in local authorities and city union managers for environmental quality, for the purpose of professional consultation, policy setting, information sharing, professional advancement, empowerment and training in various fields of their work. To hold events, such as conferences, workshops and training for all environmental unit staff in local authorities and city unions for environmental quality, including professional, social and protest activities. To work to advance the interests of environmental units in local authorities and city unions for environmental quality, and coordinate their activities with government ministries, local authorities and other bodies, and represent them before these bodies. To protect the status and interests of environmental unit staff in local authorities and city unions for environmental quality, represent them and promote their education, working conditions and salaries. To work to increase the influence of environmental units in local authorities and city unions for environmental quality on environmental protection and environmental management in Israel.
