Campus Strauss Afikei Lomda

Strauss Campus Afikei Lomda, a Vocational and Academic Training Institute empowers Haredim by training them with marketable academic and vocational skills enabling them to integrate in the job market and thus achieve financial independence. As part of our mission to empower fellow Jews with the necessary tools to achieve financial independence, Lomda runs a comprehensive and innovative Vocational Training Program which encompasses dozens of courses including: computers, high-tech, accounting and administration, media and graphic design, marketing and real estate, art therapy, as well as culinary arts and winemaking. Our academic track, under the auspices of Hadassah College, offers academic degree courses in optometry, biotechnology, computer science, management, communication, and administration. As most of our students come from the low-income sector and face financial challenges, an integral part of Lomda’s work is assisting them in obtaining scholarships and student loans that subsidize their studies. All this is part and parcel of Lomda’s firm commitment to help Haredim integrate in Israeli society and achieve financial security, which will ultimately help Israel solve its macro-economic problem.
