The Forum’s mission is to enrich Israeli public discourse by offering innovative and professional perspectives on the Middle East that diverge from the standard security-driven approach, and emphasize opportunities to integrate Israel into the region The Forum for Regional Thinking (FORTH) was established by an interdisciplinary group of researchers in order to generate change within Israeli public discourse regarding the Middle East. We believe that the dissemination of high-quality, unique, and in-depth analyses will advance a more nuanced understanding of Middle Eastern affairs and Israel's role in the region. We believe that exposure to this information, using alternative tools for considering developments in the region, has the potential to foster hope and optimism among Israel's citizens regarding potential civilian peace.
