Sharks in Israel

Promoting the conservation of cartilaginous fish (including sharks and rays) on the coasts of the State of Israel and/or abroad and documenting them, supporting research on cartilaginous fish (including sharks and rays) on the coasts of the State of Israel and/or abroad including data collection and sharing, education and advocacy regarding cartilaginous fish (including sharks and rays) in Israel and/or abroad and raising awareness for their conservation and protection, establishing cooperation with organizations or bodies with similar goals in Israel and/or abroad, promoting and nurturing educational and environmental activities for the conservation of cartilaginous fish (including sharks and rays) in educational institutions and/or bodies engaged in marine activities in Israel, including schools, kindergartens, youth movements, educational day frameworks, academic institutions, universities, colleges, diving clubs and the like, promoting cooperation with the Ministry of Education and with other government ministries and bodies including the Environmental Protection Ministry, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Nature and Parks Authority on the subjects detailed above, recruiting volunteers to fulfill the organization's goals, acting and performing all actions necessary to advance the organization's goals above
