Shevet Achim Community

Kehilat Shevet Achim was founded in 2019 with the core value of inclusivity. In the young and vibrant community of Kiryat HaSharon in Netanya, Israel, Shevet Achim has grown to more than 70 families from over 11 countries around the world. Unlike a traditionally pragmatic Israeli shul, Shevet Achim is a chosen, honorary family of people who care for and support each other through aliyah and continuous acclimation to Israel. In the past few years, Shevet Achim has seen a 15% uptick in community growth summer after summer — bringing in young families of olim across Israel. This group also includes new olim who make aliyah from the US, UK, South Africa, and other countries directly to the Shevet Achim community seeking a safe, warm, and inclusive soft landing for parents and children alike. With this incredible and welcomed growth, our community has quickly outgrown our current residence in a gan we rent for Shabbat and chaggim. With no room for additional seating during tefillot (services), tefillat yeladim (children’s services) accommodations, or a weather-proof location for the genuine connections that can only be made over kiddush, we’ve decided it’s time to purchase a permanent home for our shul and community.
