Public Movement (תנועה ציבורית) is a registered Israeli nonprofit (amuta), registration no. 580712834, based in תל אביב - יפו, founded in 2020. It holds a certificate of proper management (Nihul Takin).
To lead and develop the public movement and its activities in Israel and worldwide. To promote and cultivate the art of dance in the public sphere and in meeting with cultural institutions of various kinds. To refine methods of work for creating choreographies dependent on place and time. To develop and strengthen connections between social-historical and political research and dance, and between dance and other visual arts. To create new performances in Israel and worldwide and expand discourse on experimental choreography. Learning and exploration of public space and movement within it in Israel and worldwide
