Organic Israel

Organic Israel is a non-profit organization that was founded to promote organic farming and reduce the use of pesticides in the agricultural, urban and roadside. We focus on implementing and educating sustainable agricultural practices. Organic Israel (RA) will work to promote the standardization and implementation of organic farming and to reduce the use of pesticides in the agricultural, urban, and roadside environments. The organization will work to promote organic education and to encourage the consumption of organic food by the general public. The organization was established to promote organic farming in Israel and abroad, with the understanding that this is a sustainable way to maintain food security, maintaining public health and the environment, and increase carbon sequestration as part of climate change mitigation. We work with 4 principles that are underlying the organic concept - health, environment, fairness, and responsibility.
