Organization of Tunisian Jewry Diaspora

To assist and carry out all of the following actions for Tunisian Jews and North African Jews: to honor and elevate the living tradition of Tunisian Judaism in the State of Israel and in the diaspora, to work for the promotion and representation of the organization's educational, cultural, Torah and material interests, to support, assist and help as much as possible and as deemed appropriate any person, institution, company, association, corporation and any body or authority with similar purposes, to establish and manage gemach funds, relief funds and scholarship funds, to support and assist financially students, students, Torah scholars, yeshiva students, writers, artists, scientists and researchers, to encourage publication of research and publication of books and works of all kinds related to North African Judaism, to grant scholarships, grants, allowances and the like for the purposes of professional, educational and academic training, to provide material assistance to large families, the sick and the needy, to take any action aimed at promoting, assisting or fulfilling the organization's purposes directly or indirectly, to connect and cooperate with any Jewish community, institution, body, organization, corporation in Israel and abroad and for this purpose to organize delegations, send emissaries and host groups representing other communities, to organize conferences and awareness meetings in Israel and abroad to promote the organization's purposes, to support and maintain Jewish bodies and synagogues in Tunisia and Israel related to Tunisian Judaism, to support and maintain religious institutions belonging to the organization including needy Jews in Tunisia related to Tunisian Judaism, to establish legal bodies, corporations, companies, associations, committees and to participate in their management, provided this does not violate the law and does not create conflicts of interest between them and the organization, to receive donations, inheritances and bequests, to receive and/or establish and manage new or existing dedications and estates, to use these funds for the organization's purposes and the instructions and requests of donors that do not contradict the organization's purposes, to locate assets in Israel and the diaspora belonging to the committee by virtue of registration or dedication to the Western Tunisian community and ensure their acquisition and legal registration in the organization's name, to receive, sell, manage, lease and perform any action and any transaction, including mortgaging, of real estate and rights in real estate, assets and the like belonging to the organization, to cooperate between the organization and all other organizations and North African Jewish organizations to hold joint events and activities, and to support this center financially
