The organization was established by a group of immigrants from France, originally from Tunisia, French speakers, for the purpose of preserving the community's traditions and passing down its customs to future generations, including studying heritage, cantorial singing in Tunisian style, studying biblical cantillation and disseminating Torah among community members, organizing traditional events in Tunisian style for community members and French-speaking immigrants and establishing a spiritual center and synagogue in Tunisian Jewish tradition
