To promote colleges as first-rate academic institutions for research and teaching. To promote and encourage organization in all colleges where no academic staff organization exists. To support academic staff organizations and members of the council in the face of any body in Israel without prejudicing the autonomy of academic staff organizations on the council. Support will be agreed upon by internal procedure or on an individual ad-hoc basis. In this way we leave ourselves room to maneuver to solve/manage future problems.
