The nonprofit will work to promote and preserve the marine and coastal environment in Israel, research marine ecosystems, and encourage wise, safe and sustainable use of sea and coastal resources for the benefit of the general public, additionally, the nonprofit will work to map and alert about approaching jellyfish swarms, provide educational information to the public including prevention and treatment methods for jellyfish stings and conduct research and data collection on jellyfish populations in Israel through citizen science and reports on the website "Meduzot Be'Am" (meduzot.co.il)
