To act for the advancement of medicine and development of services in the Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv (hereinafter - the medical center and/or hospital), in full coordination with the medical center management, all subject to the law and in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health. To act according to the medical center's needs, in accordance with the decisions of the medical center director, as they may be from time to time. To initiate, promote, assist, participate, and conduct medical research, whether applied or basic, in all fields of medical science, to develop services for research purposes, and to develop and offer medical services and medical projects for the benefit of patients and public health. To use the infrastructure and means of the medical center according to law for the purpose of optimization, expansion, and sale of services to third parties, including operation of operating rooms, institutes, laboratories, and other equipment of the medical center. To act for the advancement of medical services and their quality, improvement of service standards, and actions for the welfare of patients and improvement of patient care in the medical center. To provide support, advice, and assistance to the medical center in every possible way regarding construction, establishment, maintenance, expansion, upkeep, and improvement of buildings, development of infrastructure, procurement of supplies, provision of equipment, and other services in the medical center. Taking action to reduce waiting times for patients awaiting surgeries, diagnoses, and various treatments in the hospital. To perform any other activity to promote medicine in the hospital and/or promote health, provided such activity is not prohibited by law and/or expressly in this bylaws. To make any necessary agreements in a reasonable manner for the purpose of performing the activities as detailed in this section while utilizing the medical center's infrastructure and subject to the regulations of all law.
