Israeli Interior Designers Association - Academic Professionals in Design and Registered Engineers

Uniting all interior designers in Israel who are academics in design and registered architects and interior design engineers, and organizing them in an association based on their level of education and professional training in the field. Distinguishing, on this basis, association members from other designers operating in the field who do not meet the association's acceptance criteria. Safeguarding the common interests of association members; working toward regulation in the field of interior design. Achieving professional recognition of interior designers with professional training and broad education before Israeli authorities, to improve and advance their status. Working with the general public and against various public institutions and organizations, to increase awareness of the difference between the professional level of association members, based on the comprehensive training required by their position, and other designers. Representing the interests of association members before any person, legal entity and any governmental, public and private institution; creating cooperation with academic institutions training interior designers with academic degrees and with technical schools in architecture and interior design. Developing joint initiatives, competitions, lectures and raising students' awareness of the association's existence and activities; acting and influencing society, culture and the environment, with the involvement of association members in activities contributing to the community; working to raise the professional level of association members through specialized continuing education, congresses, study days and tours; strengthening ties among association members, encouraging professional and social cooperation, building regional support and consultation circles. Deepening the association's activities throughout the country, with special emphasis on integrating young association members at the beginning of their professional careers; working to produce and distribute professional materials and relevant information, through various media systems between the association's board and members, among members themselves and toward the general public; strengthening ties with the International Federation of Interior Designers IFI and parallel associations worldwide, with the intention of publicizing the achievements of Israeli designers and informing association members of developments in the world in relevant fields
